Christopher Appleton

Hi, I'm Christopher, your primary warden for Clewer and Oakley Green.  Some of you may have seen me patrolling in the area already, working alongside Michelle Simmonds.

As a community warden my role is to be a link for residents between all the local services and agencies passing information between them. We also try to address anti-social behaviour by looking at any possible solutions to avert such behaviour.

As a member of the Neighbourhood Action Group (NAG) and as part of the Community Safety Partnership I work and liaise with Thames Valley Police, Windsor Housing, Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service and many other services to make the Royal Borough a better place to live and work in.

Having worked with Michelle Simmonds, I have gained a great deal of knowledge of the area, but I am sure there is more to learn and I am really looking forward to meeting many of you when I am out and about on patrol.  Having been a community warden for a number of years, I hope to use this experience to benefit the community.

Over the next few months, I will be making sure I establish links with the many communities in the area, including the schools, residents, local businesses and the churches.
