Community Participation

Active participation from local communities is a key factor in deterring Anti-Social Behaviour. There are plenty of ways to get involved, including:

• Making contact with your Neighbourhood Action Group
• Setting up a Neighbourhood Watch scheme
• Speaking to your local Councillor at their surgeries
• Volunteering with local projects or charities
• Working with your neighbours to keep an eye on their welfare and property
• Keeping a diary of problems that are occurring and reporting them to the Police or Council
