What We Do
The role of the community wardens is to:
- Provide a uniformed, reassuring presence
- Improve the well being, confidence and safety of Royal Borough residents
- Promote community safety
- Deter anti-social behaviour
- Deter crime
- Provide crime prevention advice
- Take part in community projects
- Link to all local organisations
- Building stronger and safer Communities

They visit schools, day centres, local businesses and liaise closely with other agencies and departments within the borough to try to solve problems in the community as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Wardens have strong links with all local organisations, agencies and other council services.
