For drug and alcohol information, advice and treatment, contact our T2 service, which is based in Maidenhead town centre.
T2 offers a fast, accessible and confidential service, for anyone living in the Royal Borough who wants to reduce, stabilise or stop using drugs or alcohol. They also provide support for colleagues, friends and family members who are affected.
You will be able to talk to a project worker in confidence and receive support, information and advice. After an assessment, a plan will be developed with you to help make positive changes in your life.
T2 offers a wide range of services such as a needle exchange, alternative therapies referrals to 'Progress2work' to help you gain a job. 'Chatterbox', a group to support parents and carers of drug users, is held every other Tuesday between 6 and 7.30pm. For more information contact the number above.
T2 Young People's Service
This service is open to young people who are concerned about their own drug or alcohol use or that of a family member. Young people are seen on an outreach basis within local venues or can attend young people's drop-ins at the T2 building on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings between 5.30pm and 8pm. The service offers drug education and awareness, one-to-one support, group work and alternative therapies. Diversionary projects such as music and art are also available.
