Support, advice and information
T2, Sands Court, Grove Road, Maidenhead, SL5 1LW Tel: 01628 683260
If you wish to reduce your own drug use or are concerned about a family member or friend, a range of services are available. Initially, anyone in the borough (adults and young people) should contact our open access drug service T2 who will ensure you receive the support you require. This could mean referral into other services for more specialist interventions but any decision about treatment is always made with your knowledge and approval.
Under 18s with drug or alcohol issues and their parents and carers can contact the Young People's Service at T2 on the number above.
For more information on how to refer a young person, please see below.
Services for adult alcohol misusers in East Berkshire are limited. If you are over 18 and have concerns about your alcohol use, in the first instance contact your G.P. If appropriate, they will refer you to Berkshire Drugs & Alcohol Specialist Service (formerly CASCADE) - a NHS provider based at Upton Hospital in Slough, which offers clinically based counselling and treatment for alcohol misuse.
